Universal Remote Functions
If your VK Digital remote is a universal remote, you can program it to control your TV as well. Here’s how to program the universal VK Digital remote:
Programming the Remote for TV
- Turn on the TV: Ensure your TV is turned on.
- Press and Hold the 'TV' Button: Press and hold the 'TV' button on the VK Digital remote until the LED indicator stays on.
- Enter the TV Code: Enter the 4-digit code for your TV brand. The LED will turn off after entering the correct code. Codes can usually be found in the remote’s user manual or online.
- Test the Remote: Point the remote at the TV and press the 'Power' button. If the TV turns off, the code is correct. If not, repeat the process with the next code.
Auto-Search Method
- Press and Hold the 'TV' Button: Press and hold the 'TV' button until the LED indicator stays on.
- Auto-Search: Press and hold the 'Power' button. The remote will start searching for the correct code. Release the 'Power' button as soon as the TV turns off.
- Confirm the Code: Press the 'OK' or 'Enter' button to save the code.
