Pairing with TV
Manual Pairing:
- Turn on your TV: Ensure your TV and Sun Direct DTH set-top box are both turned on.
- Press and hold the "TV" button: Hold it until the LED indicator blinks.
- Enter the TV brand code: Enter the appropriate code for your TV brand. Codes can usually be found in the remote’s manual or on the Sun Direct website.
- Test the code: Press the "Power" button on the remote. If the TV turns off, the code is correct. If not, repeat the process with a different code.
Auto Pairing:
- Turn on your TV: Ensure both the TV and the Sun Direct DTH set-top box are powered on.
- Press and hold the "TV" button: Hold until the LED indicator blinks.
- Press and hold the "Power" button: The remote will start scanning for codes automatically.
- Confirm pairing: When the TV turns off, release the "Power" button. The remote should now be paired.
Common Remote Functions
- Power: Turns the TV and set-top box on/off.
- Volume + / -: Adjusts the TV volume.
- Channel + / -: Changes the channels on the DTH set-top box.
- Mute: Mutes the TV sound.
- Guide: Opens the electronic program guide.
- Menu: Opens the main menu for settings and options.
- OK/Select: Confirms a selection or opens a highlighted menu.
- Arrow Keys: Navigates through menus and options.
- Back/Exit: Exits the current menu or option.
